The Worst Of All Possible Crimes
I’ve been working hard on the updated version of my first book ‘You Can’t Hurt Me,’ which has changed the anonymous names of the guilty to their actual names, whilst continuing to protect its innocent characters with the anonymity guaranteed them in the first version. There is a new introduction and it has some other new sections. The updated eBook now has internet links to articles about the trial, as well as new sections. If you want a copy you can pre-book a signed copy soon from this website.
I strongly feel that there is a need now to highlight the failings of the government that, through its inertia and inaction, continues to almost welcome known child abusers to walk freely amongst young vulnerable children in this country. The promise of a Care Act that Boris Johnson said was ready to deliver on his General Election campaigning trail in December 2019 has proved another of his many inveterate lies. The fact that he could mislead the country on this subject is beyond contempt. So long as children in care remain uncared for and ignored by the government, men like Nigel Clayton will continue to have free rein over the vulnerable and innocent. But for charities like Survivors UK, there would be nothing for these victims.
Child abuse is probably the worst of all possible crimes because of its violation of innocence and its lifetime effects on the victims. Until I take my last breath on this earth I will devote my life to campaigning for a Care Act that addresses and confronts the evil that remains at large today.
Meanwhile, a week before Nigel Clayton’s trial verdict, life goes on. I am about to start training for my upcoming Masters Boxing Championships in Perth, Western Australia, in November 2021. I’ve always kept myself in tip top physical shape every day, but to prepare for a two week championship, I need to be in absolute perfect condition. As a result, I have just commenced a sixteen week training programme. It’s all clean living from now on. No booze or bad food, a good sleeping regime, a good well paced diet and plenty of rest. Adios, amigos!
